Reebok Impact
Reebok Impact turned personal memories into sneakers: a digital fashion experience on Instagram, built with Futureverse in 2023. You sent a photo that meant something and got back a digital sneaker in its colours, with the photo stored in the sole. I was the art director, built the procedural Blender setup behind the renders, and made the launch teaser with Flavio González Figueroa and Jake Williams.

Memories with soles
Send a photo, get a sneaker in its colours.
The idea was abstract: the mark a memory leaves on us. The work was turning it into a concrete object, across the Pump, Classic Leather and Club C.
I set the visual language and the creative direction. It comes from LIDAR point clouds, which stand for the haziness of memory: every sneaker sits on a soft cloud of points.

You sent a photo; the setup gave back a sneaker in its colours and style, with the original image stored in the sole.

Procedural setup
One input image, one render.
I built a procedural setup in Blender that takes the input image and makes a unique render from it.
The camera and the set stay the same from render to render. The colours and the shape of the point cloud are what change.

04 30 renders from the setup, every one of them a Pump.
The teaser
Everything you do leaves an impact.
For the launch, Futureverse and Reebok wanted to say exactly that. A character walks through shifting places until one step sets off a particle simulation that dissolves the world into a glowing digital landscape. Photoreal proportions, a neon-noir mood.
My scenes are made in Blender, with Geometry Nodes. Flavio González Figueroa built the futuristic city and its shots in Unreal Engine; Jake Williams made the type. It was finished in DaVinci Resolve.

The walk, planned shot by shot before the 3D.

06 Clay and simulation passes of two of my shots.

07 Final shots. The neon street in the first is Flavio González Figueroa's city; the rest is mine.
